Visiting Manjimup

Hi there,
At the moment I am down in Manjimup visiting my family. Even though it is cold it is so nice with the sun shining inbetween  the showers.
Sue and I went down to Beedilup Falls on Tuesday afternoon and we took some really lovely photos.

 The falls from the swing bridge. I found it hard to keep the bridge still with the tripod set up. I couldnt move a muscle or the bridge would move.

 On the way back up to the car I saw this puddle and snapped a great reflection.

On the road home from town to the farm I stopped for a sunset shot. If you look carefully there are sheep in the paddock.

Orangutan and Baby at Perth Zoo

Hi there,
While at Perth Zoo last month I managed to capture this mother Orangutan helping her baby from one area over to where she was. It was such a wonderful moment to see.It was very high up and I was just in the right place at the right time to see it.

Another misty sunrise

Hi again,
I uploaded the wrong photo the other day so here is the one I actually loved the most. The way the sunlight adds colour to the bush on the right side is lovely and the radiation of the sun's beams through the trees looks great. Nature is wonderful.

I have been away on a stamping Retreat and this was the misty sunrise. I am really happy with this photo.

Family Get Together

Hi there,
Its been awhile since I have shown you any photos but I have been taking lots. We had a wonderful family get together for my brother Tom's 50th birthday last week. We all stayed at Abbey Beach and had a great time. This is one photo of my immediate family. I have more of the weekend but haven't edited them yet so will show them later. It is always nice to have all of us together

I am off for a weekend away stamping. Will be back with more soon.

Lesmurdie Falls

Hi there
 Last weekend I went to Lesmurdie Falls. I decided to go to the foot of the falls so I could take photos loooking up. I had such a lovely afternoon in the sunshine and bush all around. It was well worth the short hike into the base of the falls. I couldnt climb over the last few rocks so didnt get the best photos but I am really happy with the ones I did get. I stopped all along the path on the way up taking photos of the stream flowing down from the falls. I thought I would share some of my photos with you.

Full Moon under clouds

Tonight the moon was so full and rose above the hills but was covered in clouds. I still went out to take some photos. I still have so much to learn but it sure is fun.

I hope you have enjoyed the long weekend here in WA.
